Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Palo Alto Group, Inc. (“Palo Alto Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit www.paloalto-group.com (the “Site”) or contact us. By using the Site, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Information you provide. When you use our chat or contact form, we collect the details you submit — such as your name, work email, company, role, and the contents of your message.
- Usage and device data. Like most websites, we automatically receive standard log information (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, timestamps) from our hosting providers.
- Local storage. We store a chat session identifier in your browser’s local storage so a conversation can be resumed. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and provide the services you request.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
- To send you communications related to a conversation you started with us.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, and only as needed to run the Site:
- Hosting & database: Vercel and Convex (site hosting and data storage).
- AI assistant: OpenRouter and the underlying model provider, to power our chat assistant.
- Email: Google Workspace (Gmail), to send and receive correspondence.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
Data retention
We keep contact and conversation records for as long as needed to respond to you and for our legitimate business purposes, then delete or anonymize them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email team@paloalto-group.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
